So you are looking for Network Marketing Tips that Work are you? Well in today’s post I am going to lay it all out for you and give you my top 2 tips that definitely work “if” you work them.
When someone comes to me asking for tips that work that tells me they have some doubts that they can be a success in network marketing, which leads directly into my first tip.
Tip #1 – Get Your Head Right
Do not ignore this tip. Tip number 2 is going to be an action tip but this one is by far the most important piece of advice you can ever get in this industry and you need to take it very seriously as it is the deciding factor as to whether you will succeed or fail!
You need to get your head right. You need to get your belief level up. Network Marketing is not on trial, it is proven.
It has been around for numerous years and has already been proven to be an incredible business opportunity for countless people.
It has drastically changed the lifestyle of people from all walks of life.
It is you who needs to raise your belief level. You need to understand what you have in front of you.
You need to truly grasp and understand that what you have in front of you is a way to completely alter the course of your life and your family’s lives forever, if you want it to.
You Are the X Factor
You see you are the deciding factor as to whether you will make it in this business. I can give you a million tips that work, and there are tons of them on this blog, but the reality is that none of them will work if you don’t.
Understand the opportunity you are in is exactly the same for everyone in your organization. The person making the most money was given the same opportunity as the person making no money. The compensation plan with the company you are with is the same for everyone. The training tools are the same for everyone. The product is the same.
What is the deciding factor as to whether you will go on to success or not?
YOU!
You and you alone decide whether you will make it or not. You are the necessary piece of the puzzle that will determine whether you will become one of the success stories.
You are the one who decides whether you will put the work in daily no matter what. You are the one who decides if you are going to treat it like a business or a hobby.
You are the one who makes the decision to keep going after a prospect tells you no. It is you who has to pick yourself up and make yourself do what is required to become a success.
So get your head right, understand the truly incredibly opportunity you have in front of you and then make the decision to go after it for as long as it takes no matter what.
If you want success you must get rock solid in your determination to make it happen.
This is by far the greatest tip I could ever give someone. If you have this rock solid determination there will be nothing that can stop you, you will make it.
Tip #2 – Get Good to Great at Recruiting
In the end all that it takes to become a success in network marketing is learning 1 more skill set.
I say learning 1 more skill set because you have already learned countless skill sets in your life. Countless.
Think about it, everything you do is a skill set you had to learn. From walking to talking to doing whatever it is you are good at. Everything we do is a skill set.
And in order to revolutionize your life and achieve all of your dreams and goals all you have to do is learn one more skill set.
Just one more!
Recruiting is the Skill Set that Pays Big Dollars
Success in network marketing is achieved by learning how to recruit.
You do not have to be the greatest recruiter in the world. Far from it in fact.
If you can get to the point that you are sponsoring just 3 people per month into your business success will be yours. 3 people per month is 36 per year and that will create a very profitable business for you.
And guess what?
Learning the skill set of being able to sponsor just 3 people per month is very do-able for anyone. It is not a hard goal to reach when you learn how to prospect the right way.
In fact recruiting 5 – 10 people monthly is a very achievable goal and one you should strive for.
Prospecting is a Simple Process
People love to complicate and over think everything. And man do they love to complicate prospecting.
Most people have themselves convinced that prospecting is some sort of complicated sales process that only a select few can master. Nothing could be farther from the truth.
In fact all you need to do to get good at recruiting 3 – 10 people per month is follow 3 steps:
Step 1: go out and meet new people daily (simple to do on social media),
Step 2: develop some rapport (relationship/friendship) with them,
Step 3: once rapport is built ask if they are open to taking a look at your opportunity. (This is called inviting)
That is it!
Let’s look at those 3 things very quickly…
Step 1: Meeting People
We already meet new people all the time, you meet people offline through the course of living your life daily and you meet people on social media. We already do this constantly in our normal lives.
But for some reason when it comes to having to meet people for our network marketing business we get all sketchy and nervous about it.
Oh no they are going to think I have an agenda, oh no they must know I am in a network marketing business.
Get out of your head and stop overthinking it. Be a normal human being. Just meet people. Just be yourself.
I am not saying to run out and meet people by slamming them over the head with your business. I am saying just go and meet people. That is it.
At the bottom of this post I am going to share with you some additional blog posts to help you get good at prospecting and meeting people.
Step 2: Develop Rapport/Relationship
This is where people start tripping out and get lost in the process.
How do I develop rapport? What do I say?
How many conversations do I have to have before I ask them if they are open to looking at my network marketing opportunity?
Stop that. Don’t over complicate it. Just be normal. Just be a human.
Have fun, and get to know the people you meet. We again do this all of the time, you have been doing it your whole life.
There is no set number of conversations you should have before you ask someone if they are open to looking at your business. Every person will be different.
You will know when the time is right to ask the person. Don’t over think it and don’t think you have to wait an eternity either.
And here is the thing, if you are meeting new people daily, every day the time will be right for many people on your list.
The key is to keep the funnel filled.
Keep meeting people and keep developing rapport and relationships with people daily.
What I recommend is you focus on social media and at the time this blog post was written Facebook is the best of all the social media sites for recruiting at the moment. And I believe it will be for a long time to come. However this strategy works on all of the social media sites.
Add all of the people you know and meet in your life to your Facebook Profile. Pretty much everyone is already on Facebook and it is a simple and quick process to develop your relationship further with them on Facebook.
Again I am going to give you trainings you can check out at the bottom of this post but here are a couple of quick Facebook tips that work to get you started in the right direction:
Facebook Tip #1 – Don’t be a spammer. Don’t blast your opportunity or product link all over the place including your own profile and especially not in groups. And do not solicit complete strangers by sending them your company link without developing rapport.
Facebook Tip #2 – Do not have the name or link to your opportunity anywhere on your profile. In fact no one should know the name of your company until you share it with them.
Facebook tip #3 – Use Facebook groups to go out and interact with people. Pick 1 or 2 interests you have and search and join groups where people of like interests hang out. Interact and get to know people.
Facebook Tip #4 – Treat it like a party. People do not go to a party to talk business. They go to have fun and meet new people. So do just that. Go meet new people. Become friends with people.
Step 3: Inviting Your Prospect to Look at Your Opportunity
So again here is where people get all worked up and stressed out.
Relax this is the easy part.
You have already met the person and you have already developed some rapport. All you are doing is asking them if they are open to looking at your opportunity. They either will be or they won’t be, it does not matter as it is simply a process.
You are going to continue to meet people daily, some will be interested in looking some won’t be so just keep meeting people.
Here is an example of how to ask someone if they are open to taking a look:
Example 1: Hey Joe Joe, it’s been really cool getting to know you. Listen I have been meaning to ask you, would you be open to a side project if it did not interfere with what you are presently doing? It may or may not be for you. If you are open I can send you a video, if not no problem.
Bam! That is it. Simple and easy.
People are either going to say no, yes or what is it.
If they say no thank them.
If they say yes or what it is, I recommend you get them on the phone and give them the information, but you can always just send it via Facebook also; but the phone is better.

Sounds good Sharon, let me know if I can help out. Cheers
Hi Robb,
I very much enjoyed your article. I haven’t done network marketing in a while now. I’m currently creating an online business via blogging.
What I find interesting is how many of your tips apply to my business style as well. We all need to have the right mind set, no matter what business we start.
And being yourself, meeting people, and engaging with them are the same. But rather than face to face for me, it’s through my writing and videos.
Thank you for your success tips,
Suzanne
