I seriously want to congratulate you for looking into getting some MLM Training. And I truly mean that.
I love this industry of MLM or Network Marketing, but it has a major down fall or flaw to it, and that is the majority of people who join do so halfheartedly.
They either join because they felt pressure to do so from a friend or family member or they joined because they thought it was get rich quick or perhaps they join just for the heck of it, to give it a try and see if it will work.
And unfortunately for most of the people who join for those reasons they end up failing. Because my friend this is a business. It is not get rich quick and it is not a hobby. It is a business.
And becoming successful in any business takes hard work, dedication and a commitment to learning how to become successful and get better.
So by you looking into how to get some training that tells me you are taking your business seriously and are already light years ahead of the masses in our industry.
So seriously good for you!

Alright let’s get into my top 3 tips…
Tip #1 – Are You Serious?
As I mentioned earlier the reason why most people fail in this business and give it a bad name is because they are wishy-washy when they join, they are not serious.
If you spent $100,000.00 to buy a franchise you would be deadly serious, laser focused.
The problem here is that it typically costs under $500 for people to get into business, and unfortunately that is not enough “skin in the game” to keep someone doing what is required daily after they get a few bumps and bruises.
Business is tough, all business is. You are going to get setbacks. You are going to have frustrations and you are going to have to take the time to learn new skill sets.
You need to sit down with yourself right now and make the decision on whether you are serious about achieving your goals.
Whether you are going to do what it takes no matter what to live the lifestyle of your dreams.
Whether you can make the rock solid commitment that failure is not an option no matter what.
If you can get that serious with your MLM business then success is just a matter of time. And the cool thing is that success in this arena takes nowhere near the same amount of time a regular business would take.
If you can get rock solid in your commitment your life can drastically change from one year to the next.
I went full time in 6 months, creating a six figure income in that time. Countless people have. If it can happen to them it can happen to you. If you allow it to that is.
So get serious or get out!
Tip #2 – Get Connected
When it comes to success in this business no man is an island. As I said there are going to be ups and downs on your way to success. Being connected with like minded people going in the same direction as you is going help you in a big way.
Get connected to your company. Attend their company calls and especially their conventions.
Get connected to your team. Be on their weekly training calls, be a part of their Facebook groups.
Find an up line member who is making things happen and get connected to them. Ask them if you can do three way calls or group chats with them. They have a vested interest in your success and will gladly help you out.
Stay connected to this kind of training. Get on my free boot camp. Fill your mind with all things MLM.
What you think about expands. What you think about you become.
Lock arms with people who are heading in the same direction with you. It is much harder to fall off and quit if you are surrounded by people who share the same goals and visions as you do.
Tip # 3 – Learn the Required Skill Sets
When you boil it right down there are two skill sets that you must master if you want to have success with your company.
They are Recruiting and Team Building. Learn and master those two skill sets and the sky is the limit.
They are both important, however if I had to pick one over the other there would be no question that recruiting would be the most important skill set of the two.
I say this because if all you did was got good at recruiting and did not bother working with your new recruits you are still going to have success because eventually you are going to recruit people who are serious about building the business with or without you and they will figure it out on their own.
Obviously I am not advocating that you do this as it would be stupid, but it makes the point of how important getting good at recruiting is.
Alright now let’s take a look at each of these skill sets individually….
Skill Set of Recruiting
So clearly I am a huge advocate of learning and getting good at recruiting.
In fact it is basically what we do in this industry. We become professional recruiters. If you have no new team members or customers you have no business. So clearly you need to learn how to get some of both.
But here is the thing… too many people come into this business and think they will only have to recruit for a season and stop.
They think they will only have to sponsor 3 – 10 people and those people will do the same thing, and so on and so forth down the line and they will be living on the beaches of the world in no time.
Trust me this is NOT how it works.
A successful MLM business is created by always recruiting. You need to get at least decent at sponsoring new reps into your business every month for your whole career.
Yup your whole career…
I don’t care if your income is $30,000 per month or $300; if you are not bringing in at least 3 people every month your business is going backwards!
Now before you get all depressed, this is actually GREAT news!
When I finally figured out that success in my business would be as a result of only having to learn how to recruit I got excited.
Do you realize all the skills that are required to become successful in any other arena? LOTS!
In no other business do you just need to learn 1 thing and you can write your own ticket.
Learn one skill set and achieve all your goals!
This Is A Big Deal For You
I hope you are getting this my friend, because this is a big deal. Learning the skill set of recruiting is a big big deal and it pays so well!
And guess what?
It is not a hard skill set to learn. In fact it is a simple skill set to learn. Anyone with desire and determination can learn how to get decent enough at recruiting to be able to sponsor 3 people into their MLM business monthly.
In fact sponsoring 5 – 10 is also a straight forward process and one you can also achieve if you really go for it.
Social Media has really evened the playing field when it has come to recruiting and building a MLM business.
Instead of having to get out in your community and spend countless nights away from your home, you can now simply log into Facebook or Instagram and in under 1 – 2 hours a day easily prospect 20 people if you want to.
Countless people have now realized tremendous success in our industry thanks to social media. Success that most of them would not have been able to achieve off line before social media took over.
I have a pile of training’s on how to use social media to recruit large numbers of prospects, here are a few to get you started:
Skill Set of Team Building
OK so it is clear I am a big fan of recruiting but almost as important is learning how to build a team aka getting the people you sponsor to do something!
There simply is no success in MLM if a team is not built.
Even when I told you that if all you ever did was recruit you still need a team to develop.
Remember when I said that eventually you would recruit people who figured it out on their own? That meant they would build a team. And since you recruited them they would be in your organization and in essence your team also.
No team means no business period.
So the smart thing to do is to learn how to build a team from the people you recruit.
Team Building is a skill set and I could write a complete training manual on. However I am going to give you the 2 core foundational basics of how to do it and then point you to other posts to help you learn more.
Basics of Team Building #1 – Work in Groups
An important thing to understand is that not everyone on your team is going to be as dedicated and committed as you.
Not everyone on your team is going to want to create a 6 figure income.
Some will be happy having their product paid for monthly.
For some making an extra $500 per month will be great.
For others earning $1000 per month will be life changing and that will be their goal.
And others will want to crush it like you or even in a bigger way.
You have to work with people where they are at. You cannot turn a person who is happy having their product paid for into a person who wants to earn 6 figures. If you try to you will push them away.
Let them be where they want to be. Meet them there.
And this is accomplished by working with the majority of your team in group settings.
Have team training calls where everyone learns how to build the business and gets all of the updates weekly.
Have a team website that does all of the training for you. Have a Facebook group for your team where you train, motivate and build community.
Then as leaders start to emerge. As the go getters make themselves known, you can work and train them individually.
You want to focus the majority of your time you have allotted for team building working in the groups with the masses and then individually with the true go getters.
Basics of Team Building #2 – Keep It Simple
A key thing to keep in mind when developing your daily plan of action, i.e. the activities you and your team will do daily to build your MLM; is they must be able to duplicate.
This means that the person with the least amount of skills on your team must be able to perform the activities and have success with them. This is how a large organization is built.
If only a few people can see success doing the daily activities your business is going to slow to a crawl.
For example if I run an ad in a billboard in time square; sure I might recruit some people into the business.
But guess what?
When I tell those people to go and share their business with friends and family or get on Facebook to do some prospecting they are not going to do it.
This is because what you did to bring someone into the business is the way they will think the business is built. If you recruited them from a bill board, they are going to think that is the “secret” to success that you are not sharing.
They will then get frustrated and quit because they will not able to afford a bill board.
And Simple is Better!
And the funny thing is the simple activities actually work the best.
This is why focusing on your warm market (the people that you know) starting out has always been the foundation on which successful MLM organizations have been built for years. It is simple and it does work.
Then once you are done with your warm market, all we do is learn how to meet new friends and ask them if they are open to looking at an opportunity. Very simple, very easy, it works and it definitely duplicates.
The best place to move to after your warm market to meet people in my opinion is social media.
Meeting new people on Facebook and prospecting them is simple and anyone on your team can do it.
