If you are on a mission to learn How to Find People Interested in Network Marketing in order to sponsor them into your downline you are in for quite a bumpy ride. It’s not mission impossible by any means but it is going to be a bumpy and somewhat of a long ride.
Here is what I mean…
I would not go so far as to say that most people you come across are not interested in network marketing, but they are most definitely not out actively searching for an opportunity.
So when it comes to the traditional methods of prospecting your job is to pique the interest of people; and get them intrigued by the idea of building a residual income in a network marketing opportunity.
Now I am guessing that since you are researching how to find people who are already interested in network marketing you have been trying to build your business in this traditional manner and have been experiencing rejection.
Rejection is Part of Network Marketing
People have probably been telling you that network marketing does not work; they figure they know this because they had a friend whose great-uncle Herbert tried it 40 years ago and failed so ya it obviously does not work. (insert GROAN here).
But now you figure enough is enough, you’ve had enough rejection and you figure the best solution (easiest way) is to learn how to prospect people who are already interested in the industry and life will become much easier for you.
Here is the truth of the matter…
There is a Strategy to Find People Who are Interested in Your Business
First of all there is actually a strategy used by some in the industry to locate prospects who are interested in network marketing already and of course sponsor them.
The whole premise behind this strategy is to set yourself up as an expert or a leader in the network marketing industry. Become known as someone of value in the industry. Someone who can help other people achieve the success they are looking for.
People want to work with leaders.
When people look at you as being someone who can help them achieve their goals and become a success in the industry they will want to work with you and will actually reach out to you in many cases wanting to learn about your business.
But more on that later…
What do you mean more on that later Robb, that is exactly what I want to learn about right honking now?!?
I get it my friend and I am going to share that strategy with you but you need to understand what I am about to share with you first or that strategy will be completely useless and a waste of for you.
Traditional Prospecting is the Foundation of Every Successful Organization
As much as you hate the rejection you are experiencing from prospecting people who are presently not interested in network marketing you have to get over it. You have to grow a thick skin and deal with it.
You absolutely 100% need those people!
This is because any and every truly successful network marketing business is and has been built on people joining your opportunity and sharing it and the product with the people that they already know when they join!!
You might go on and learn more advanced recruiting techniques like the one I am going to share with you today but the fact of the matter is that the majority of your future team will not.
The reason for that is the more advanced techniques are just that, more advanced!
- There is more involved with them.
- They take more time to learn.
- They have a steep learning curve.
- They take time to get results with
- and they cost money.
As a result, most people on your team will not only not have success implementing them, but they will not be interested in trying to use them.
Master Traditional Recruiting First
So long story short if you truly want success in network marketing you must learn and master the traditional method of building your business by prospecting, and sponsoring everyday normal people who to start with are not “presently” interested in network marketing.
It is simply something you MUST do!
Here is the great news…
It is actually not hard once you learn how to do it correctly and get your head around the whole prospecting process. In fact, it becomes a very simple and effective process once you learn how to do it the right way!
Fact is there is a great chance that up until now you have been doing it all wrong, most networkers are.
So take the time to learn the correct method of how to recruit the people you know and people who at present may not be interested in network marketing yet!
Get good at it and teach this very important skill to your team.
Then you can start to learn more advanced techniques like those that we are going to talk about today…

All right let’s get into what you have been waiting for; how to find people who are interested in network marketing right now…
It is Called Attraction Marketing
With this strategy your target market i.e. the people you are going to be prospecting are presently in a network marketing business now and are looking for a change or they have been in the industry before and are looking to get back involved.
These people already understand how great an industry network marketing is, you do not have to convince them of that fact. Therefore, they make good prospects!
Now of course there are two immediate problems:
- How do you find them?
- Why would they work with you?
Are You Ready for Your Mind to be Blown?
Using attraction marketing you do not find them, they find you!
Or rather, you Attract them to you.
It is very much like fishing verses hunting.
When you are doing traditional prospecting, you are going out hunting for prospects. You are looking for them and you are zeroing in on them. You are the hunter.
When you are doing attraction marketing it is more like you are out fishing. You have a nice tasty juicy piece of bait (worm) on your hook that attracts the fish to you.
When you are fishing the bait is food for the fish, they have a problem they need solving which is they are hungry so they see your worm as the answer/solution to their problem.
In recruiting network marketers, they are hungry also.
But they are hungry for knowledge.
They are hungry for success.
They have a problem also, which is how to become successful in their business. Your bait needs to be the solution to their problems.
Your bait needs to be things that will satisfy that hunger and as a result attract them to you.
What is Good Bait to Catch Network Marketers?
Network Workers are searching online for all kinds of topics to help them become a success. Topics like what we are talking about today for example.
They are also searching for:
- “how to generate leads”
- “how to build a downline”
- “where to find prospects”
- “how to get a yes in network marketing”
- “how to get your team to duplicate”
You are presently a networker so you know exactly what problems we face in this industry. You could sit down right now with a pen and paper and write out at least 10 problems if not a whole heck of a lot more.
These problems and their solutions are your bait.
So now you know the bait you need to use but how do you get it out to your prospect. Where do you go fishing?
Why the internet of course… it’s a massive lake filled with an endless amount of fish!
Attraction marketing is basically internet marketing.
You find a problem your target market has and you provide them with the solution using internet-marketing techniques.
There are various means of doing this:
I personally like to blog
Other people use:
- Video marketing
- Social media marketing
- Newsletter marketing
- Paid advertisements
- Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
Regardless you pick one or two of these methods and you start creating content. Content that is like the bait in our fishing example.
Let’s say you choose to do video marketing…
You could do a video showing people how or find prospects on Facebook, and post it on YouTube and Facebook and even on a video blog if you like.
The next day you do a new video showing people how to follow up with a prospect. You then post it on YouTube, Facebook and a video blog.
Every single day you create a new piece of content and send it out to the internet.
Every piece of content you are creating is like a piece of bait.
Over time (and it does take time) your bait is going to start to be noticed. People are going to start seeing your videos here and there and everywhere.
They are going to start to take notice of you. You are starting to attract them.
They are going to start watching your videos and applying what they are learning.
You are starting to become of value to them because of the valuable information you are sharing with them. You are going to start to become seen as a leader and an authority on the topics you are creating content on.
Here is why this works so well…
People Want to Work With The Leader
Everyone wants to work with the leader. Everyone wants to work with people who they perceive as being able to help them achieve their goals.
The more content you create the more you are going to become perceived as that person.
And eventually they bite on the hook!
They make the decision that their best chance of success is to work with you directly.
In many cases, they will reach out to you wanting to know what business you are building. In other cases, you can have marketing funnels created that will walk people through the process of learning how they can work with you.
Either way you have them on the hook and now just need to reel them in.
It is a great strategy but like any other, it has its issues…
Take the Following Warning Seriously
Remember earlier on when I said you must learn and get good at the other recruiting strategies. The traditional methods of prospecting people who at present are not looking or interested in network marketing?
You absolutely have to do those strategies and you must work on them with at least 70% of the time you have allotted towards building your business.
Never replace those strategies with attraction marketing. This strategy is to be done on top of those strategies.
Always always always in addition to them and not instead of them.
There are a whole hosts of reasons why this is so important, but the biggest one is that this strategy takes a long time to get results with.
It has a very high learning curve and it costs money.
Which means a few things…
- First of all if your goal is to build a downline and if you only do this method it will be at least a year before you even enroll your first person.
- Second when you enroll your first person and they see you only doing attraction marketing they are going to think that is what they need to only be doing also.
Now if it takes them a year to enroll their first person you simply will not have any growth in your business. Your organization is going to take forever to grow and in reality it never will because most people are going to quit long before they ever recruit a single person.
The Secret to Your Success
The secret is to learn the traditional methods, get good at them. Learn to be able to recruit 3-5 people per month using them. Teach your team how to do them using the correct strategies.
Trust me it is not a hard thing to get good at if you put the effort into learning how to.
Then and only then if you want to add attraction marketing activities on top of what you are doing and will continue to do, then by all means go for it.
It is a powerful strategy and a game changer once you get to the point where you have tons of leads and sales coming in on a regular basis. It will revolutionize your life but it takes time to get there. (Anything worthwhile does).
