Key to Your Success #1 – Get Your Head Right
You truly are the only thing standing between you and your success in your network marketing business. The trick is to get out of your own way and just go to work making things happen.
The first thing to really ingrain into your head is that if others have been able to build a successful organization with the network marketing company you are with than YOU can too!
You really have to believe this. You have to get this into your head.
If you truly want the lifestyle that only network marketing can provide than you have to believe it is possible for you. And it really is…
People from absolutely all walks of life have made it in our industry and there is no reason that with hard work and consistency that you cannot either.
Yes like anything else worthwhile building your network marketing business is going to take time, effort and work. Nothing worthwhile happens overnight and nothing worthwhile comes without work.
But if you can get your belief level up, if you can believe it is possible for you, become coachable, learn what it takes to be successful and then start applying what you just learned over and over again your success is all but guaranteed.
Believe it and then go Achieve it! Oh ya!
Key to Your Success #2 – How You Build This Business
It is vital that you understand how to build this business.
Most networkers are doing it wrong. Too many come in and think this is a sales business and then run around trying to sell and convince their friends and family to buy their product or join their opportunity.
And when that fails to work for them they jump on social media and start spamming the hell out of groups, pages, messengers and of course their own profiles.
They are doing it all wrong and then they wonder why they fail.
This is Not a Sales Business
Believe it or not this is NOT a selling business. How great is that. We do not have to sell. You do not have to sell.
In fact when I hear a sales guy tell me how great they are as a sales guy with their day job. And how they have won this sales award and that sales award and how they are going to crush it in network marketing, I literally want to tell them to save their money and not join.
Because they are going to tank hard. They are going to fail if they try that “selling stuff” here. Selling simply does not work in this industry.
Sharing is Caring (and it pays big $)
What works is Sharing!
All and I do mean all your job is, is to find people to share your opportunity with.
And there is a HUGE difference between selling and sharing.
All that is involved with sharing is asking your prospects if they are open to taking a look at your opportunity. That is it. Then all you do is repeat this over and over again.
Keep finding more and more people to see if they are open to looking at your opportunity. That is it!
What we do really is pretty easy when you boil it right down to the basics.
Then if someone is open to taking a look all you do is you send them your companies presentation and you let it do the selling for you.
When you follow up and they have questions you get them on a 3 way call or group chat with your upline who will do the selling for you.
- You do NOT sell!
- You do not explain the opportunity to them.
- You do not attempt to break the compensation plan down for them.
- You do not go on and on about how magical your company’s products are.
If you do any of these things you will fail!
The reason for this is your prospect is looking at everything you do and thinking to themselves that whatever you are doing is what they will have to do.
And guess what most people can’t sell and most people do not want to sell. So if it appears you are selling to them they are out.
But if you are showing them how simple it is to build your network marketing business by asking if they are open to taking a look and then simply pointing them to a tool like a company presentation to do the selling for you; they will think:
“Hmmm what Joe just did was pretty easy, I think I can do that”!
Now just do that over and over again… Which leads to the next Key to your success.
Key to Your Success #3 – Play the Numbers
A successful network marketing business is built by playing the numbers.
Success is a numbers game period.
The more people you can find and show the opportunity to the more people are going to join. Simple as that.
Yes the quality of the numbers you work helps.
Meaning you are going to have better success if you go after movers and shakers, people who have ambition versus people who just want to drink beer and sit on their couches all day.
Master This One Skill Set & the Sky is the Limit
The number one skill set you want to master is prospecting!
Learning where to find good quality prospects and learning how to ask them if they are open to looking at your opportunity.
Do that over and over again with large numbers of people and your business is going to take off, become very powerful and create one heck of an incredible lifestyle for you.
When I figured this out. When I got it into my head that all I had to do was prospect AKA find people and ask them if they are open to looking at my opportunity I got really freaking excited.
All I had to do was master this one skill set and all of my dreams would be realized!

Key to Your Success #4 – Lead by Example
Alright so the last key to your success when it comes to building a massive downline is to understand what to do when you have a team.
How to lead them.
As you start to enroll people another trap that I see people fall into is becoming managers. They go into manager mode.
Georgie signs up 3 new distributors and now thinks he has to manage and coach them. And as a result he stops doing the core activities that will build him a large organization… I.e. Prospecting and recruiting.
The secret to success when working with your downline is to lead by example.
What you do they will do!
If you are prospecting and recruiting that is what they will do. So share your results, let them know you are in the trenches doing it.
Build a culture of that is what we do here on this team. We prospect baby! We are crushing the recruiting numbers man!
Now of course I am not saying that you should be a jerk or ignore your new team members. And of course you have to get new people trained up… but the secret is to do this will tools…
How to Train Your Team
Just like when you are prospecting you do the same thing with your new team members. You share the team training site with them and tell them to go through it asap.
You share the team training calls with them and tell them to make sure they are on it weekly.
You share the team Facebook groups and tell them what unit to start on.
Do not get stuck in one on one training.
Do not become a crutch for your new team members.
You are looking for the go getters and they will make themselves known to you in short order.
If someone has a question about how to build the business point them to the team training to answer it.
If someone has a customer service question about their back office, or auto ship, etc. have them call your companies customer service number.
The point here is have tools in place to get your team trained and ready to go. (training site, team calls, Facebook group)
Have tools in place to keep them up to date on what is working as well as keeping them motivated and feeling a part of something. (training site, team calls, Facebook groups, company/team events).
Then lead by example and do not get bogged down trying to manage team members, instead focus on prospecting and recruiting and get your team doing the same and man oh man big things will happen for you and your team if you do this.
