In todays post I am going to talk about the Best Online Network Marketing Companies, how to find them and which one to choose to work with.
There is no question that the majority of people in this modern age prefer to build their home based business with more of an online focus versus the old school offline strategies. I can relate, as I also prefer to do the same, it is simply a more enjoyable, convenient and a superior method of building a business in many cases.
So if we all want to build online the questions then become what company should I choose, which one is the best?
Which are fair questions to ask. However, the answer might not be what people are expecting to hear.
In fact if someone is asking these questions and researching this topic they actually have it backwards.
There is No Real Online Company
It’s true there really is no such thing as an “online” network marketing company per se. There are just network marketing companies that you can use the Internet as one of your strategies for building.
There may be companies that claim they are “online” companies but the reality is they are no different from most of the other companies. They just throw the “online” tag to their name or marketing material as a sales tactic to sway you to join their opportunity.
The fact is that in this day and age every single direct sales company in existence does business using the internet. And you can conceivably use the internet to build any of them.
There is nothing specific thing that one company is doing that others are not that would make it an online company versus and the others and offline company.
The reason I say that people have this backwards is because it is not the company that does the online business building activities; it is YOU! It is not that the company is an internet business it is that you build your business via the internet.
It is you who determines whether you will incorporate internet strategies into your business building activities or not. It really has nothing to do with the company.
Make sense?
How You Build Your Downline is Your Decision
It is all your decision. Do you want to be an online builder or an offline builder or do you want to combine both strategies to build your business? (A little tip for you, the last option is by far the best strategy)
You can build a massive downline and residual income check on the internet with any company in the direct sales industry that you choose to.
I will put a caveat (warning) on what I just said…
There are some companies that do encourage the use of the internet more than others do. In fact, there are some companies that frown upon using the net to build your business, and might even give you a hard time.
So that should definitely be something I would recommend you research when you are looking at different opportunities to join; make sure the company is OK with you using internet marketing strategies to build your organization.
So now that you understand this, the next thing to understand is what it is you need to do to build your business online…
There Are 2 Online Strategies You Can Use
When it comes down to it there are really only 2 strategies you can use online to build your business.
An active strategy and a passive strategy.
The first thing to realize is that your success is determined by being able to recruit and sponsor new distributors into your business as well as getting customers.
The more people you sponsor and the more customers you get the bigger your organization becomes and the larger your pay check is. Really that is all there is to it.
So you can either “actively” go out and speak to people about your business or you can set up marketing systems such as blog posts, YouTube videos or paid advertising that “passively” do this for you.
Here is the difference between these two:
Active Prospecting Example
I log into social media sites like LinkedIn, Instagram or Facebook, I join some groups or follow pages were my prospects hang out and I become active in those groups.
I get to know the people in them and I develop rapport and relationships with them. When the relationship with a person has developed, I “actively” ask them if they are open to looking at my opportunity.
The ones who are I get them some information and follow up. Then rinse and repeat, over and over again.
This is a high-elevated overview of how this strategy works and there is definitely much more to it. You can find lots of training for this strategy on this blog for, but this gives you an idea of what I mean when I say “active” prospecting.
It’s a very powerful strategy if done correctly.
The problem is that more networkers are not doing it incorrectly. And as a result instead of having success they are doing serious damage to their business and the industry as a whole.
But again if done correctly it can and has been a game changer for many people in our industry.
Passive Prospecting Example
Let’s say I am in a health and wellness company and they sell a weight loss product. I decide you know what I am going to start a weight loss blog designed to help people lose weight.
I decide to write blog posts daily about this topic, things such as diet tips, healthy meal recipes, perhaps exercise, and work out plans.
Over time, my blog will start to gather a following. People will start to take notice and start to see me as an expert on the topic. (This does take time to accomplish).
And of course part of my strategy will be to recommend to my readers what I consider to be the BEST weight loss product they could use to reach their goals; which of course will be my network marketing companies product that I am selling.
As you develop rapport with your followers and influence as an expert on this topic people will start to order your product.
You can do the same thing for sponsoring people.
Instead of having a weight loss focus and targeting people looking to lose weight, you could build a blog that is in the home based business niche and target people who are looking to make money from home.
The same concepts would apply.
Again this is a high elevated overview of how this method works, but it once again gives you a basic idea.
So What Do I Recommend?
So which of these strategies of building online do I recommend?
Great question…
I absolutely believe that you and everyone on your team should be using the active strategy I just briefly explained.
There are many reasons for this.
Reason #1
The first is that it works and again if done right it works very well.
Back in the old days before social media became as big a part of our lives as it is now your only options for meeting people was to put your boots on and get out in your community, attend functions and meet people belly to belly.
Social media has changed this. Now you can turn on your computer and log into your social media account and within 60 minutes you can realistically meet at least 10 new people.
10 new friends a day results in over 300 new friends a month. 300 new friends a month is 3600 new friends each and every year. Imagine if you and your team committed to do this.
That is a HUGE deal!
Reason #2
The second reason I say you should use this method is that it is duplicable. Meaning it is not hard, it is a simple activity and everyone on your team can do it successfully.
Keeping your activities duplicable so that everyone on your team can do them is a crucial component to your success.
What about the Passive Strategy?
The passive strategy is called Attraction Marketing and it has and still is the topic of controversy in this industry.
The reason there is such controversy is that it is arguably not that duplicable.
Attraction Marketing requires that you engage in internet marketing; which has some problems associated with it when it comes to building a downline.
The major problems are it has a very steep learning curve, costs money and it takes time to get results with.
You should expect to get no results for at least 12 – 18 months after you start using it.
Which is clearly a problem because most people will not last that long. 12 – 18 months is too long for them. They will get frustrated and quit before they start seeing results.
Now having said that once the results start coming in there is nothing like it.
People will be contacting you wanting to learn about your opportunity. You will end up with more leads than you can handle on your own. You will never run out of people to share your business with and they will be coming to you on auto pilot from all of the passive marketing you have done and content you have created.
So absolutely, I recommend this strategy, BUT only under two circumstances:
Circumstance #1
You are a person who is absolutely committed to doing whatever it takes to succeed.
You will put in the time that is required to learn.
You will do the work for 12 – 18 months even if you see no results during that time.
Circumstance #2
You will also commit to doing the “active” strategy we discussed.
There is simply no way you can have success in network marketing doing attraction marketing alone. The main reason for this is what you do your team members are going to think they need to do.
If you are only doing attraction marketing, your team is going to think that is the way they should be building their business also.
They are going to try it and in most cases will not have the drive to put 12 – 18 months of work in with no results and inevitable quit and there goes your team and all your hard work.
So it is crucial you spend at least 70% of your time using the “active” method, get good at it, get results, share the results with your team, train them how to be successful with it also.
And with the remaining 30% of your time allotted for building your business start to build an attraction marketing system. It’s really the best of both worlds.
