So you may be asking who is this Robb guy and how can he help me?

Great question, and allow me to provide you with some insight into who this guy is….

My Story

If we take this way back to the start you would find that I grew up in a family of entrepreneurs. My parents were both self-employed and I grew up always dreaming of owning my own business.

I was first introduced to the Network Marketing industry when my Father was invited out to a business presentation. I was probably about 15 – 16 years old at the time. I went along with him to the presentation, it was in a hotel conference room and there was a large crowd.

The presenter did a great job of drawing and explaining the circles on the board and needless to say I was hooked. I barely slept that night thinking about those circles. Oh the circles…  you get this guy and this guy, he recruits this guy and that gal, they do the same and over and over again as the $$ pour in!

I bet some of you can relate.

Well my father did join the business but in the end it was not for him to say the least. He is without a doubt a traditional Bricks & Mortar type business man and has done incredibly well with those sorts of businesses and simply could not get his head around doing what was required to be successful in network marketing.

I than went off to university and managed to get a 4-year marketing/business degree in 5 years. I did not set the world on fire in university by any means but I managed to get through it.

While in university I came across network marketing many times. I had buddies who were doing it and every time I saw the presentation I got excited about the opportunity and the industry all over again… oh those circles.

So I jumped into a few different opportunities while in university, and I would love to tell you I was one of those university kids success stories and made a killing, but if truth were told I was more interested in partying and as a result never did much of anything with them.

Life After University

So fast-forward a few years after university. I am now back home and still very much of an entrepreneur at heart. However like most I had settled into a boring 9-5 day job that I very quickly came to despise.

However things changed for me…

I can still remember this like it was yesterday. The sales company I was with at the time flew me to Minneapolis for some training. On the way home I got stuck in the Toronto airport for 13 hours due to a snow storm.

As I am walking around the airport board out of my mind, I went into a book store and just happened to walk by what I now know is the self-help or personal development section. There looking at me on the shelf was a book called “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill. (must read for any would be entrepreneur)

For some reason I bought it, probably thinking to myself I need to do both of those things… start thinking and start growing rich.

Well I sat down at my gate and started reading this book. By the time I arrived home I had read the whole thing cover to cover. And MAN did it change me fast. ( I still have this exact same copy and read it at once a year)

Within 4 weeks of reading that book I had opened my own weight loss company. Yup a bricks and mortar business. That booked had changed me that fast.

OK so I am sure you are saying that is great Robb but what does that have to do with how you can help me with Network Marketing… hang in there my friend we are getting to the good stuff.

Along Comes Network Marketing

So about 5 months into working my weight loss business I get a call from a guy. Yup “the call”. He wants me to look at this “new thing” he is doing.

Now I could see where this was going a mile away. I new exactly what this “new thing” he was doing was all about. Here comes network marketing again. And I was not interested, I was a “REAL” business man now. So I put him off and off for a couple of months.

However he was persistent and continued to follow up (lesson to learn right there). Eventually I met with him in a parking lot and picked up some information on this “new thing”. He gave me a magazine about the opportunity along with an audio CD. So I promised him I would look at it .

Well that magazine sat on my desk for probably a good month and I never so much as cracked it open. Then one day for some reason I grabbed a hold of it, put my feet up on my desk and started thumbing through it. I got almost to the end of the magazine and I see a picture of a guy from my home town.

Now I come from a very small town in New Brunswick, Canada and this business was a worldwide business, so seeing this guy who I had known for years on the pages of this magazine took me back to say the least. He and I had actually worked as bouncers in a club together. And here he was all dressed up to the nines in his fancy ass suit talking about all the money he is making.

OK so now I am intrigued… biggest reason being I knew someone who was successful at this and as much as I liked this guy I knew he had nothing I did not have, I knew he was not any sharper, brighter or more skilled than I was. (in fact in my head I thought I was way more talented, don’t tell him that lol).

So I immediately started thinking if he can do it so can i.

I Made the Call

So I picked up the phone and called this guy.

First question I asked him was what the heck is this all about.

Second question was why in the heck did he not ever tell me about this business (another lesson to be learned).

Well I went to a presentation and was hooked…. the combination of seeing the circles again and now knowing someone personally who was crushing it was too much for me to handle. I started shaking, I got all fired up and excited and signed up on the spot. (Note: I signed up with the original guy who shared the opportunity with me, never poach distributors!!)

It Was Go Time

So what I am about to share with you should get you excited about this business Big Time.

I went home after that presentation and I could not sleep. Here was my buddy making at that time about $15,000.00 per month.  I just knew I was going to own this thing.

So the next day I bombed through the getting started training. I learned how to launch my business very quickly.

On a side note my buddy’s sponsor was none other than Mr. Eric Worre himself. So I got to know and work with Eric very closely over my time with this company which was a HUGE deal as you can imagine. More on that later.

So I finished that training and I sat down and I made my list. Yup the “LIST”. If you have followed any of Eric Worre’s training’s on Network Marketing Pro, you know he is huge on the warm market.

So I made a serious list. I came up with 240 names and numbers.

The next day man oh man I went at that list. I called everyone on that list within 7 days. And as a result I enrolled 21 of those people and was off to the races!

The Success I Achieved

The other big leader in my company that I got to work with personally was Randy Gage. Being one of the first people to launch this business into Canada and being that my buddies sponsor was Eric Worre. I was able to work very closely with these two legends and what they taught me was a huge reason I experienced the success I did.

Notice I said “taught”.  They did nothing for my business besides teach me how to build it.  And having a mentor who can do this for you is a big deal.  That is what I want to do for you with this site.  Teach you exactly what to do to be a success in your business.

Ok the following is just some of what I achieved:

• Earned just over $4000 my first two weeks in the business

  

• Became member of the company’s founders elite club
• Won a spot on the first ever cruise the company had.
• Became the top 2 earner in Canada (my buddy kept the 1st spot, that S.O.B lol)
• Became one of the top 20 income earners worldwide
• Spoke on stages around the world, company events, recruiting events, etc
• Won all the vacations
• Earned the car Bonuses
• Traveled the world building the business
• And created a very nice 6 Figure yearly income.

What a ride!!

My Specialty is Recruiting

To me this business is a recruiting game. The more people you personally enroll into your business the bigger your business is going to be. Plain and simple.

I once heard Dani Johnson say that she did not care if you are making $200 a month or $200,000 a month.  If you are not recruiting your business is going backwards.

This is a recruiting business and once you get that into your head you are ready to crush it.

I always had a recruiting mindset. I am not good at product focus, meaning I don’t want to play store and sell products, I would rather build a huge organization of people who use the products and share the opportunity.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with the product oriented focus, and in fact if someone says no to my business opportunity than I absolutely ask them if they would like to be a customer. This focus is what makes sense to me when building a large downline. Opportunity first, followed by product second.

I have recruited people in pretty much every method you could think of:

• warm market (it’s the way to launch a business and build momentum)
• social media (my favorite)
• leads (yup, called them, recruited some people, but it sucks and I do NOT recommend it)
• living my life (people I meet just doing life, there is a right & a wrong way to do this)
• calling realtors (yup did that too, it is no fun, but it can work, but again I do NOT recommend it)
• trade shows (if done right works well and is fun)
• fliers on car windshields in parking lots (terrible method, never do this)
• internet marketing (I love internet marketing, but you have to be very very careful with this strategy)

Yup you name it I have done it and I know what works and what does not work.

Why I Want to Help You

One of the major things I struggled with in Network Marketing was figuring out how to recruit more distributors after I had run out of people to talk to in my warm market.

My upline as great as they were focused only on warm market and it became very frustrating as the fact is you will run out of your warm market, and whether you had success in your warm market or not either way eventually you will need to figure out how to recruit using other methods or you will never have a successful business.

I wrestled and struggled with this for years until I figured it out.

So my goal for this site is to make sure you do not have to go through the struggle of trying to figure out how to recruit on your own.
