They say nothing in life is guaranteed, however I challenge you to apply what you are going to learn in this post for the next year and see for yourself what these 6 tips do for your business.

Get Your Head Right
The first tip I would give you is to get your head right. Understand what it is you have in front of you with your network marketing business.
What you have is a very real and potentially very profitable business opportunity. The keywords being business opportunity.
Too many people treat this as a Get Rich quick scheme. And most times this is through no fault of their own but how they were brought into the business.
They were told by their friend who sponsored them that all they have to do is recruit a few people and those people will do the same and so on and so forth down the line until everyone is rich.
Clearly if you have been around for some time this is NOT how it goes.
Network Marketing is a business. If you want to have success with it you have to treat it as a business. It is not a job. No one is going to make you do the work. No one is going to make you put in the required time.
Just like any business you have to make yourself do what is required.
Now here is the great part. If you do make yourself do what is required. If you do make yourself show up daily. If you do make yourself work the business you are going to reap incredible rewards.
Nothing compares to network marketing. No other business model can allow you to only work 2 – 3 hours a day around what you are currently doing and provide you with the financial rewards, time freedom and adventure that network marketing can.
If you treat it like a business and continue to do what is required until you have succeeded you will win!
OD on PD
The 2nd Tip for Guaranteed Success is to Overdose on personal development (OD on PD).
The hardest part about achieving success in network marketing is staying motivated to do what is required. As stated above this is not a job, nobody is going to make you do what is required.
You are going to have ups and downs in this business. You have to motivate yourself. And at times that can be hard. You have to do what is required even when you don’t feel like it.
Personal development is your secret weapon to staying motivated.
These are all the secrets to how I stay motivated.
The following 3 things are what I do daily to stay motivated and on top of my game:
- Read a chapter of a personal development book every morning.
- Watch 20 minutes of a motivational video daily. YouTube has thousands of good ones.
- And I read for at least 15 minutes before I go to bed every night.
If I am feeling unmotivated I can quickly pin point that the problem was that I skipped doing personal development that day.
As Zig Ziglar said Motivation is not permanent, but either is brushing your teeth. You have to do both daily.
If you do not engage in personal development daily I would go so far as to say you will never create success in your network marketing business.
Every successful leader that I know in this industry is huge on Personal Development.
Remember leaders are readers!
Recruit Recruit Recruit
Out of all of these network marketing tips for guaranteed success this one is the most important.
I heard Dani Johnson say once that she did not care if you were making $1000 per month or $100,000 per month; if you were not recruiting your business was going backwards.
Nothing could be truer. This is a business of recruiting. That is what we do. We are either recruiting customers or distributors. That is how your business starts, that is how your business grows and that is how you maintain your business.
You must always be bringing new life into your organization or your business will start to fall backwards.
Once I understood that all I needed to do to achieve all of my dreams in this business was to get good at recruiting, I got very excited and fired up. All I have to do is get really good at one skill. How cool is that?
Recruiting is not hard once you decide to learn how to do it. Especially recruiting methods like social media, Facebook and Attraction Marketing.
So get good at recruiting and go do it over and over again.
Get on the Internet
Alright tip #4. As I just said in the last tip, the internet has made recruiting so much easier for network marketing.
In the old days before the internet and especially before social media you did not have a lot of choices when it came to recruiting new distributors into your down line.
You would either have to run ads in newspapers, magazines, on park benches and buses, etc.
Or you would have to plan to be out around town every night after your day job at networking events, trades shows, etc meeting new people to prospect.
Some people would even go so far as engaging in the dreaded 3-foot rule where you would literally go to some places like the mall and walk up to complete strangers to see if they were open to looking at your business.
But because of the internet all of that has changed. Recruiting has become much easier and something you can do from the comfort of your home or anywhere if you have a phone.
The two main areas I recommend people focus on when it comes to recruiting on the internet is Facebook and Attraction Marketing.
With Facebook prospecting you are engaging inactive prospecting. This is where you are actively looking for and prospecting people. You should spend between 70 – 80% of your time actively prospecting. There is a right way to do that and you can learn about it here: Network Marketing on Facebook
Attraction Marketing is where you use the internet to set up systems to attract prospects to you. Yes they actually come to you looking to find about your business. This takes time to get rolling, but once it does get going for you it is a powerful strategy. You should spend no more than 20 – 30% of your time doing Attraction Marketing. How to Deal with Your Team
Although recruiting is the cornerstone of your business obviously your goal is to build a large downline. Which involves having to deal with your team.
The best way to deal with your team is to lead by example. Whatever you do your team is going to do. This is the basis of duplication.
So it is first of all important to keep all of your business building activities duplicatable. Meaning simple enough that your team members can do them as well.
So lead by example. Keep recruiting and your team will recruit.
Secondly use systems to train and answer their questions. Do not get stuck in management and babysitting mode.
Just like when you are recruiting it is important to point to third party tools, the same thing applies when you are dealing with your team.
Point them to resources to get them trained and to answer questions:
- Team training sites
- Team Facebook groups
- Team training calls.
Abide by the 80/20 rule. 20% of your downline will provide 80% of the results. So work directly and one on one with the 20%. When someone proves they belong in the 20% feel free to spend more time with them.
And the opposite is true. 80% of your downline will provide 20% of the results. So create systems to train and help them.
Love them all. Let them be where they want to be. If they want to be an 80%’er let them be one. If they want to be a 20%’er, perfect!
Stick With It
This last tip is crucial. It may be an obvious to you but the fact is most people quit before they have given themselves time to figure network marketing out.
Like anything else in life if you are going to get good at it, it takes time and effort and in some case’s money.
It is worth figuring out. It is worth putting the time in. It is worth going through the learning process and all of its pains and frustrations.
There is no lifestyle out there like what success in network marketing can bring you.
The only people who fail in this business are the people who quit.
Draw your line in the sand and make the decision you are doing this thing. You will not stop. If others have succeeded at it there is no reason why you cannot as well.
Bonus Tip – Get Moving
Now get to work! Too many people sit in analysis paralysis. People including myself love to be in research mode.
Research is great, you need to know what to do before you can do it. But action is where the money is.
